General Info

PRIOR is proud to host the Annual Skill Challenge for VEX IQ Robotics Championship. This tournament will be for "Elemental and Middle Schools". The top 50 scores worldwide will qualify to the VEX Robotics World Championship. The goal of the Technology Challenge event is to inspire students into STEM, and develop the engineers and scientist of the future.  Teams must be registered in REC and have their official team number and then sign up for this Technology Challenge afterwards.  Contact PRIOR for Registration Details.

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Agenda

Esta Agenda es preliminar ya que el horario depende de la cantidad de equipos que asistan.

8:30 am a 9:00 am : Inspección
9:00 am- 12:00 am : Cualificaciones  
Se le permitirá 2 intentos a todos los equipos en “Robot y programming Skills”.

12:30- 1:30 : Finales
El 30% de los de los equipos con la puntuación mayor pasaran a esta etapa final, donde los equipos tendrán nuevamente 2 intentos en cada Skill para lograr la puntuación mayor posible. El equipo con la mayor puntuación de todos sus intentos será el campeón del torneo del “2016-17 Puerto Rico VEX IQ Robotics Skills Challenge”. Los dos campeones (de Robot y Programming) recibirán trofeos VEX.

Exhortamos a todos los interesados en ofrecer servicios comunitarios y voluntarios que contacten a PRIOR al 787-792-1200 para participar en este evento.
