General Info

TCAPS (Traverse City Area Public Schools) is excited to host their first ever qualifying event. The event will be hosted at Traverse City Central High School and run by Quarkmine. The event is open to Elementary and Middle School IQ teams. 

This event will offer the following awards:

  • Excellence Award - Qualifies for State Championship
  • 2 Teamwork Champion Award - Qualifies for State Championship
  • Robot Skills Champion Award
  • Design Award
  • Judges Award
  • STEM Research Project Award
  • Think Award

Skills and Programming matches will begin as soon as teams are inspected and conclude with the conclusion of Qualification matches.  Each team will be given up to three (3) opportunites for the Skills and Programming challenge.

Refund Policy

It is our policy to not offer refunds for team cancelations as it is unfair to others who have put in time and energy to ensure a successful event.

Team Substitutes will also not be permitted.  

Please bring signed Participant Release Forms for all team members (students and adult mentors) to team check-in/registration.
