General Info

This is a GISD invitational event. Please put your team on the waitlist, and then you will be invited to attend.

Welcome to Garland ISD's Robo-Bowl Invitational Tournament!  Garland always plays host to some of the best events in the state, Robo-Bowl Invitational will be no exception!   

We will be following all local and State COVID guidelines. 

This is an in-person event with judging. Concessions will be available. Teams must  bring their lunch and drink due to Covid health and safety policies. Outside food will not be allowed to be dropped off.

Please read the following, each will be adhered to with no exceptions:

  • Only digital notebooks will be judged.  Deadline to enter notebooks is Monday, 1/3122. The link to enter notebooks - Notebook Submission

  •  Please have all Coaches/Mentors/Chaperones fill out this PIt Entrance form before January 31. Only adults who have filled out this form will be allowed in the Pit Area.

    • Only 1 adult per team will be allowed to enter the Pit Area.  Example - if your organization has 5 teams, you can have 5 adults.

  • All attendees are expected to abide by the code of conduct .

  • All participants are expected to have the participant release form . (Spanish)  on file prior to competing.

Doors open at 7. Inspections run until 7:50. Meeting at 8:00.

Matches start 8:15 until 11:30.

Finals start at 11:45.

Awards at 12:15.

  • We will take the top 12 teams to the finals
  • 12:30 Building Closes

Please keep in mind that all times are approximate, our tournaments tend to run ahead of schedule.  Tournament schedule is subject to change throughout the duration. We will adhere to the match number rather than match start time.

Teams will be notified Friday by 4:00pm before the event in case of closure.

Health and Safety Policies

All event volunteers and event attendees are required to follow all local, state, federal, or any other government ordinances regarding COVID-19 safety procedures, social distancing, and best hygiene practices. This includes our GarlandISD requirements.

  • Electronic submission of notebooks and all paperwork is required.
  • Currently, face masks are highly encouraged inside the facility. If they become mandatory, everyone in attendance will be required to wear one.
  • No outside food should be brought into the venue, other than team members' lunch.
  • Hand sanitizer is available at all entrances and competition fields.  Participants are expected to clean their hands every time they move between areas (entrance, pit to field, field to pit, etc.)
  • Coaches and team members must remain in the team pit area.
