General Info
Greetings from ICE Robotics. I hope that you had a nice and relaxing break and were able to spend some time with loved ones during the holidays. The intent of this email is to bring to you knowledge that the VEX IQ qualifier that was supposed to be held on the 29th of this month at Kipling C.I has been postponed.
The decision to move the event date was made with the the intention of keeping our VEX community safe. With the increase in the number of cases along with the added restrictions, our team believes that this is the only logical step to take for now. For any queries regarding payment and e-transfers, please feel free to reach out to us and we will make sure that the registration fees are refunded.
We wish you the best for this season and look forward to seeing everyone at a new tentative date.

Refund Policy
Registrations will be finalized two weeks before the event date. Any cancellations after that date will not be subjected to a refund.
Health and Safety Policies
Many important precautions will be taken to ensure the safest atmosphere for both event staff, and attendees. Below is a number of those precautions.
- Accompaning adult must provide vaccination proof to enter the facility.
- Masks must be worn at all times by anyone inside the facility.
- Temperature checks will take place at the entrance to the facility
- We will limit the team size to 4 members on a team including the coach.
All approved events and event attendees are required to follow all local, national or any other government advice and guidance regarding COVID-19 safety procedures, social distancing, and best hygiene practices. Event Partners should continually assess, based on current government guidelines, whether to postpone, cancel, or significantly reduce the number of attendees when necessary.

Judging Format
- In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
