Thank you for registering for the 3rd Annual Riviera Rams - Elementary - Robotics Open Tournament. This is an elementary school only event. The tournament is being held at Riviera Middle School's Cafeteria. There are two parking lots, one in the front of the school on SW 48th street and the other is on 104th Avenue.
We are asking that all Coaches and team members wear a mask at this event since we are combining multiple schools from around the South Florida area. We will allow ONE (1) parent per team and the team coaches to attend the event. (Information to follow if we are able to live stream for all parents to enjoy.)
We are requesting that any team that would like to be considered for the Design or Excellence Awards to submit their Engineering Notebook by 5:00 PM Wednesday, December 1st. This will give our judges a chance to thoroughly examine all the hadr work your team members have ut into their notebooks. All teams will scan their original engineering notebook. Electronic notebooks written in a word document or PowerPoint will not be accepted. All notbooks must be scanned in page order. Notebooks should have the team name, table of contents and pages numbered. Please email the LINK or PDF to email@example.com. If you are a Miami-Dade County public school coach you can share a link from your One Drive but please make it public so the judges can judge them.

We cannot do this event without the help of volunteers. We have many positions to fill. We will make sure you have any training you need in order to volunteer. All volunteers need to be registered as Level 1 volunteers with Miami-Dade County Public Schools.
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
IF there is an Emergency and the event needs to be cancelled, we will try to reschedule for another date.
There will be NO REFUNDS unless the Administration or MDCPS cancel the event.
Health and Safety Policies
The district currently mandates that all students, guest or staff memebers wear a mask at all times per the CDC. If this changes, a notice will be sent to all of you.
Future information to follow, once we determine we are able to send a Zoom link.
A zoom link will be sent to all registered teams a week prior to the event.

Electronic Engineering Notebook Submissions: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the Event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted electronically for evaluation, with a submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
