FREE REGISTRATION
We are looking for volunteers! If you are able to provide 2 volunteers to help with this tournament, I will give your team free registration! Email me at ben@studentroboticseducation.com to arrange this
COVID-19
Due to COVID-19, we will be taking many precautions to help protect the health and safety of our staff, students, and coaches.
First of all, this event will be hosted in a very well-ventelated area to reduce the rist of spreading the virus.
Additionally, all participants (with a few special exceptions) will be required to wear a facemask for the duration of the tournament
Special walkways and queuing areas with social distancing will be in place, and we will be using the socially-distanced driver station configuration for drivers, with students standing on opposite ends of the field.
Food
There will be no food provided at the tournament due to COVID-19, so please make sure to bring enough food for your entire team
Pit Area
All teams will be provided a table and benches. There will be power strips available for charging VEX IQ batteries. Make sure to label all of your teams’ equipment with your name and/or team number.
Competition Preparation
This event is sure to be a fast-paced and exciting event. All teams should come prepared for competition. Here are a few things to pack for the event the day before the day of departure.

NOTE: A completed Participant Consent Form for all participants must be electronically signed prior to the tournament. Team leaders will need to send the link to the form to parents so that they can fill it out for their children

LATE Arrivals
Teams must be checked in 45 minutes prior to the start of the qualification matches so that the match schedule may be printed. Teams must contact the event partner if they are running late or they will be removed from the team list for the event.
Team Payment
Teams must be paid two weeks prior to the event. Teams not paid at this time may be dropped at the event partner's discretion to allow teams in from the waitlist. Refunds are not typically offered, but if you have a special case, please just let us know and we will see what we can do.

Skills matches will be available from 10:00 am - 2:00pm (Closed During Lunch). 3 attempts maximum per team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Excpet in extreme circumstances (a hurricene, for example), this tournament will go on as scheduled. Please visit the event on Robotevents.com where updates about the event status will be posted as needed. In case of an emergency, we will individually reach out to all teams using any contact information required. Teams should make sure their contact information in Robotevents.com is up to date and includes both school and non-school phone numbers and email address.
In the event that COVID-19 makes the tournament impractical or unsafe, all teams will be notified and their registration fees refunded (less the $5 processing fee from robotevents)
In the event of an emergency during the event (for example, a fire), the facility's emergency procedures will be followed and everyone will be safely evacuated.
