The Sandpiper Robotics Tournament is a qualifying event for the 2021-2022 VEX IQ game "Pitching In". This event is generously sponsored by Redwood City Parks, Recreation & Community Services. Thank you to the city for allowing us to use their beautiful facility for this educational event!
This event is sure to be a fast-paced and exciting event. All teams should come prepared for competition. Our event would not be possible without volunteers and consequently, we REQUIRE each team to provide volunteers and/or competition fields/game elements as a condition of participating in the tournament. If you are not able to provide volunteers then please do not register for this tournament.

Sandpiper's Robotics Program relies on youth and adult volunteers! We need your help to make this a great event and we welcome help from parents, grandparents, students, and community members.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Event will take place, rain or shine. Event Partners will also make every effort to reach teams directly in case of an emergency. Make sure your team contact information is up to date in your robotevents.com account as this is the information that will be used to contact your team.
Team Registrations are final, no refunds will be granted.
Event payment is expected when you register for this event and must be completed when you register. Unpaid teams will be removed from the event, allowing space for teams on the waitlist.
Team swaps/trades will only be allowed until the week prior to the tournament date. Teams will not be allowed to swap after January 29th, 2022.
