General Info

This league will meet five times and skills will be offered at each event. We will strive to have an equal number of elementary and middle school teams. This league is designed to provide teams opportunities to interact, practice, and iterate their robot design and programming techniques. The first session will focus on teamwork challenge matches alone; the second through fifth sessions will include 3 skills attempts (total) for each team, as well as teamwork challenge matches; the final session will be teamwork challenge finals and include robot design judging for teams that have a comprehensive engineering notebook.

Dates: Saturday, October 23rd,  Saturday, November 20th, Friday, December 10th ,  Friday, January 28th, Saturday, February 12th. Please note that some meetings are on a Saturday and some on a Friday.

Volunteer

Each team is asked to identify 2 committed volunteers to assist with each League session. Training will be provided for those that serve as referees, judges, etc. Help is always needed to quickly clean up at the end of a session so that EVERYONE can leave as early as possible.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If weather causes a session to be cancelled, we will collectively work to select an alternate date.
