General Info

The Chico Bot Harvest is taking place on the Chico Senior High School campus in the Lincoln Center & Gym.  Parking is available on the West side of campus off of Sacramento Ave.

Doors will open at 9:00 am for the pits to be loaded.  Robot Check-in and Inspection will comense at 9:15 am. Teams MUST turn in release forms and payment by this time.  If release forms are done digitally, please submit a roster of students and coaches that are at the Tournament at Check-in.

The goal is to start the Tournament at 10:00 am with and introduction of the game, followed by matches.  Team must pass inspectiong to participate in the Teamwork Challenge matches.  There will be two fields for Teamwork Challenges, one for Skills Challenge and one Practice Field.

We will run as many matches as we can until noon.  We will then take a 45 minute break for lunch and resume play at approixmately 12:45 pm.

We ask that any food or drink (with the exeption of water) be consumed outside the Lincoln Center.  There are tables, benches and pleanty of shade in the quad.  


9:00 AM  -  Doors open to teams to setup in pits and Check-in with Consent Forms or Team Rosters (if digital consent completed)

9:15 AM  -   Inspection begin.

10:00 AM  -  Check-in for that days session closes

10:30 AM   -  Inspection table closes.  Major changes need to be reinspected by officials at the Admin Table

10:00 AM  -  Opening Ceremonies and Drivers Meeting.  Matches immediately follow.

                 -  Skills Challenge table opens 10 minutes after Teamwork Challege matches begin

                 -  Judging begins in the pits

Noon        -  1 hour Lunch break

1:00 Pm  -  Matches resume

2:00 PM   -  Final Matches begin

2:30 PM  -  Awards Presentation

After scheduled matches Pits are cleaned, tables put down and event cleared. 


A volunteer registration form will be sent out to teams two weeks prior to each event.  Student member volunteers will assist with Queing and preparing teams to be on time for their match.  Adults will be asked to assist with crowd control in the gym and outside the building.  At 9:30 AM there will be a Volunteer Meeting to let everyone know their assigned tasks.

If you have not received a form and wish to volunteer, please contact the event coordinators and they will send one out to you.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of an Emergency or Bad Weather event, all team coaches will receive an email from the Event Coordinators.  We will also endeavor to make phone call to ensure that teams are aware of the situation. Please make sure your team contact information is up to date in your account and includes day of contact information.

Canceled events will be rescheduled based on the availability of the facility.  

Refund Policy

Teams can withdraw their registration up to two weeks before the event nd receive $70 of their registration back.  This means no later than Thursday September 25th.   

Health and Safety Policies

The Health and Safety Policies of Chico Unified School District will be applied to this event.  All participants will be required to wear a face covering while inside on campus and endeavor to social distance when in the bleachers and pits.  If anyone in the party is feeling unwell, the expectation is that they will not attend the event.  If asked to address any of the issues above by a event volunteer or coordinator, please respect the request as we are all doing the best we can in the situation and are trying to provide a postitive experience for all in attendance.
