General Info

This league is designed to provide teams opportunities to interact, practice, and iterate their robot design and programming techniques. The first session will focus on teamwork challenge matches alone; the second through fifth sessions will include 3 skills attempts (total) for each team, as well as teamwork challenge matches; the final session will be teamwork challenge finals and include robot design judging for teams that have a comprehensive engineering notebook.

Agenda

Meeting bi-monthly on Tuesdays: October 5, October 19, November 2, November 16, November 30, December 14.

5:30 TEAM CHECK-IN & INSPECTION

6:00 TEAMWORK CHALLENGE MATCHES OR SKILLS ((Dependent on session)

7:30 TEAM CLEAN-UP

Volunteer

Each team is asked to identify 2 committed volunteers to assist with each League session. Training will be provided for those that serve as referees, judges, etc. Help is always needed to quickly clean up at the end of a session so that EVERYONE can leave as early as possible.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If weather causes a session to be cancelled, we will collectively work to select an alternate date, most likely by extending the league until November 9.

Refund Policy

No refunds will be made.

Health and Safety Policies

All safety precautions required by Hamilton County Schools will be followed to maintain mandated school policies. Any team may elect to wear masks, even when not required by Hamilton County Schools policies.  As much space as possible will be utilized to reflect adequate social distancing.  Teamwork matches will require driving teams to stand on opposite sides of the playing field. If necessary to reduce contact time at a session, skills will be limited to a small group of teams at each session; robot design judging may also occur remotely via Zoom.
