General Info

This is an Official Indiana VEX IQ State Qualifying Event.

We will have 2 state spots for this event as there is no judging.

Early Bird Registration will be used this year.
Note: The first two events selected will count toward Early Bird and cannot be changed once used.

Any team not paid by January 15th will be removed and that space will be offered to a team on the wait list. Concessions will be available for snacks and light lunch (pizza by the slice).

Participation and Consent Form A must be completed for all participants and uploaded online. Team leaders will need to collect the completed forms for all team members attending the event and upload them as soon as possible - before the day of competition. If consents are not uploaded the day before competition, teams will be removed from the competition.

All payments for entry fees MUST be in advance. Payments not accepted at the door.  Please note the refund policy.  Because organizations must be vendors with our school to receive funds from the school, we are unable to issue refunds for ANY reason including cancellations due to weather.  We hope to not have to cancel, but want to be sure everyone understands that we are unable to issue refunds under any circumstances.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In case of bad weather conditions or possible cancellations please visit the event on Robotevents.com where I will post updates about the event status as needed. Please feel free to contact Jenn 1-219-775-6745 or Jane 1-219-309-4305 if you are going to be late to the event. Match Lists will be generated as scheduled and cannot be re-run.

Refund Policy

Payment and Refund Policy:
Event payments are expected when you register for the event and must be completed 3 weeks prior to
the event date. Unpaid teams will be removed from the event to allow teams on the wait list to register.
Please contact me if there are considerations to be made.

Unfortunately, we are UNABLE TO DO ANY REFUNDS OF ANY AMOUNT FOR ANY REASON INCLUDING WEATHER CANCELATIONS.  Because of the way that payments are processed through robot events, the rules governing refunds by our school do not allow us to pay a school - only robot events.  They unfortunately are unable to refund the schools if we return the payment to robot events.  Hopefully we will not need to process any refunds, but we want to be clear on the policy and the reasons for it.

Health and Safety Policies

Our event will have a limited capacity.  Each competitor may have only 2 parent/audience members maximum in attendance.  All spectators must remain IN THE STANDS at all times.  We are not allowed to have spectators on the floor because of COVID restrictions.  We are allowing a maximum of 19 teams in the event, and will NOT be having judging events this year in an effort to limit close contact and the number of volunteers at the event.  Masks are encouraged and appreciated, but not required.  Please social distance as much as possible.  Thank you for helping us to keep everyone safe!
