Soaring Heights VEX IQ Hybrid Skills Invitational
Remote Judging- Friday, April 2nd from 4 pm-7 pm (MST)
Hybrid Skills Matches- Saturday, April 3rd from 9 AM- 3 PM (MST)
Waitlist- All teams will be placed on the waitlist and priority will be given to teams that have had not competed or have only competed in a limited number of competitions.
Hybrid- We are working on approval to have site locations for interested teams to post skills scores in-person. Teams that would like to join the event remotely will have that option available.
The team's primary adult contact (over the age of 18) must be present with the team for all interactions with event staff online, including judging, inspections, and matches. During team interviews, the team adult should NOT contribute to the interview or to the team interaction with the judges in any way. The adult's presence is for online safety purposes only.

All approved events and event attendees are required to follow all local, state, federal, or any other government ordinances regarding COVID-19 safety procedures, social distancing, and best hygiene practices. Event hosts should continually assess, based on current government guidelines, whether to postpone, cancel, or significantly reduce the number of attendees when necessary.
Judging: Friday, April 2nd, 4-7 PM MST, 10-minute interviews followed by robot and field (if participating remotely) inspection.
Inspections: Friday, April 2nd immediately following Judge's Interview
Pre-recorded Event Meeting: Sent to coaches by Friday, April 2nd to watch with the team.
Skills: Saturday, April 3rd, 9 AM - 3 PM MST, 45-minutes per team to complete up to (3) Driver and (3) Programming Robot Skills matches. Teams attending in-person will have a one-hour time slot that includes 15 minutes for set up and practice matches.
Awards announced via email by Monday, April 5th.
We will need lots of volunteers to ensure a successful event! Registered teams will receive a link to share for volunteer sign-up. We will need both in-person and virtual volunteers.

Refunds will be provided to teams that cancel by 3/26/21. No refunds will be given the week of the event.
