This is a SKILLS ONLY event. Your team will sign up for a time and will be given 1 hour to complete your 3 driving skills and 3 autonomous runs.
We will be sending out more information on joining the Zoom meeting room once we get closer to the event. Please reach out to pat.jarboe@tellcity.k12.in.us if you have questions!
Zoom Meeting info (or similar) will be provided to allow teams to call in and show their 3 Driver and 3 Programming runs to the Head Referee.
Teams will compete from their own locations and must have their own field, field elements, and a camera for their Zoom connection. Also have internet access with adequate bandwidth for video to be seen. Please make sure consent forms are completed online.Teams will NOT be traveling to this location. There will not be any awards for this event. This event is mainly for Indiana teams who have not signed up for any events yet.
The event will be held from 4:15 (EST)- until 8:15 (EST)
Tentative:
A week or two before the event, teams will choose a time slot using Google Sheets during the 4:15-8:15(EST) time slot. Before calling in, please have robots ready to run. It is anticipated to keep things moving smoothly to run it similar to a tournament. Teams will do 3 runs concurrently (if they wish), then go to programming. If they are unable to do their truns concurrently, we will skip them and come back as soon as time permits. Before beginning teams must have a measuring device (yardstick or tape measure) and be able to show close ups to pass inspection.
1) Teams need to pass inspection
2) Do any practice they want and make adjustments to their code
3) Complete up to 3 driving and 3 programming skills runs
No volunteers will be needed.
If the event partner is unable to make it to the location to host the event, refunds will be made minus the $5.00 administration fee.
