General Info

Soaring Heights VEX IQ Remote Skills Only Event

Saturday, February 27th 9 AM- 3 PM (MST), 20 minutes per team to complete up to (3) Driver and (3) Programming Robot Skills matches.

The team's primary adult contact (over the age of 18) must be present with the team for all interactions with event staff online, including judging, inspections and matches.  During team interviews, the team adult should NOT contribute to the interview or to the team interaction with the judges in any way.  The adult's presence is for online safety purposes only.

Agenda

Judging: Tues-Thur (2/23-25), 3:30-5:30 PM MST, 15 minute interviews inside of 20 minute time slots

Inspections: Friday (2/26): 3:30-6:30 PM MST

Pre-recorded Event Meeting: Sent to coaches on Friday (2/26) to watch with the team

Skills: Saturday (2/27), 9 AM - 3 PM MST, 20 minutes per team to complete up to (3) Driver and (3) Programming Robot Skills matches.

Awards announced via email by Monday (3/1).

Volunteer

We will be reaching out to attending schools for volunteers.  We are currently seeking judges that are not directly related to the competing teams.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Bad weather? No worries! Everyone is remote.

Refund Policy

Refunds will be provided to teams that cancel by 2/19/21.  No refunds will be given the week of the event.
