The North/Central Florida VEX Regional Championship brings together top robotics teams in the VEX IQ Challenge whether in-person or remotely, to celebrate their accomplishments and participate with the best teams from across the state.
In the VEX IQ Challenge, teams compete in the exciting 2020-2021 VEX IQ Challenge game, Rise Above, to earn a spot at this prestigious event. For information about the game, click here.

Space at the Regional Chamionship will be in high demand and we don't anticipate many (if any) spots opening up for teams on the wait list. Click the “Wait List” tab to place your team on the wait list. If spots open up, teams on the wait list will be notified and instructed to register.
Please turn WiFi OFF on all of your devices while at the event. Comeptitors use the 2.4Ghz band and the competion will use the 5Ghz band at the event. Additional devices, connected to a network or not, can interfere with competitors and the event itself.

The North/Central Florida VEX Regional Championship is free and open to the public, however due to safety protocols this year, each competitor will only be allowed 1 spectator in the event at a time with them this year.

Sunday, April 11th - Elementary School VIQC - In-person and Live Remote Tournament (teams will be participating in one OR the other, NOT both).
7:15 AM - Start Live Remote Tournament, all teams login and prepare for matches (match schedule will be created once tournament it started) Inspection and Driver's Meeting (pre-recorded and sent to teams ahead of time)
7:30 AM - Start Live Remote Tournament matches
8:30 AM - In-person team registration opens
8:45 AM - In-person inspection opens
9:15 AM - In-person team registration closes
9:30 AM - In-person inspection closes
9:35 AM - In-person Driver's Meeting review (pre-recorded and sent to teams ahead of time)
9:45 AM - In-person Qualification Matches begin
10:30 AM - LRT Qualification Matches end and finals rankings posted
10:45 AM - LRT Finals Matches begin
11:15 AM - LRT Finals Matches conclude

Registration for this event commits event partners to set costs. No refunds except for extreme circumstances with documentation. If entire event is canceled due to health or safety protocols, Event Partners will contact you regarding refunds.

Where do I have to go to get my temperature taken?
Everyone will have their temperatures taken at the competition campus entry checkpoints.
Anyone who has a temperature of 100.4 degrees or greater will not be able to enter the campus and it is suggested that the individual see a doctor, per CDC guidelines.
Yes. We are following CDC guidelines as well as local health protocols, and face coverings are required to participate in this event (indoors and outdoors). Please see details below on what is considered an appropriate face covering for your visit. If you do not have a face covering, we have them available for purchase.

A surgical mask-type face covering will be available for purchase.
Participants must wear face coverings at all times, unless they are actively eating or drinking, and they must also be socially distanced from other travel parties while consuming their food or beverage.
Visitors should be aware of and comply with government guidelines regarding travel restrictions and mandatory quarantines before visiting our campus.
