Thank you for registering for the First Annual VEX IQ Tournament @iTech Magnet High School Open. Additionally, only teams that bring an Engineering Notebook and compete in both Driver and Programming Skills can be eligible for the Design and Excellence awards. Please have robots INSPECTION READY prior to the event. Questions? Don't hesitate to email me or if you prefer to text or call me.
Teams need to arrive by 7:30 AM so that they can be inspected before the 8:30 AM deadline
The teams coach who is officially listed in robotevents as the primary contact receives all team emails, so read the email titles and content carefully. All attendees are expected to abide by the code of conduct . All participants are expected to complete the participant release form . (also available in Spanish) Once per season covers all events

This is an indoor event and if there is a huricane or tornado advisory, please check back as we will follow the progress of the storm and follow the policy of the Miami Weather recommendations regarding this event. No postponements, cancellations only, due to severe inclement weather or tropical system.
Event payments are expected when you register for this event and must be completed (showing PAID in the system) a minimum of 2 days prior to the event date. Unpaid teams will be removed from the event, allowing space for teams on the waitlist. Refunds may be made if there is a cancellation by the organizer due to COVID-19 less any non-refundable event costs and the $5 RobotEvents fee; all refunds are at the discretion of the Event Partner.
