Refund Policy

Event payments are expected when you register for this event and must be completed (showing PAID in the system) a minimum of 1 week prior to the event date. Unpaid teams will be removed from the event, allowing space for teams on the wait list. No refunds will be made once a team is marked PAID in the sysytem. Please contact Antonio Silva (asilva@stcatherinemh.org) regarding any questions or concerns.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the case of bad weather conditions or possible cancellations, please visit the event on Robotevents.com where updates about the event status will be posted as needed.  Please make sure your team's contact information in your RobotEvents.com account is up to date in case we need to contact your team.

Volunteer

Volunteers will be needed for event setup and teardown, robot inspection, reset, judging, and other positions. If you have any interest in helping out, please contact Debbi Salom at sacredheartrobotics@gmail.com or Antonio Silva at asilva@stcatherinemh.org.

The tenative agenda for the day is below. We expect there to be some changes on the day of competition.

8:30am Doors open for volunteers

9:00am Registration & Inspection Begins, Pits open, Practice Fields Open, and Skills Fields Open

9:45am Inspection closes, Opening/Event Meeting *Teams not registered with their robots inspected by 9:45 will be removed from the match list*

10:00am Qualification matches begin

12:00pm Break for lunch

12:45pm Qualification matches resume 

2:00pm Qualification matches finish and skills events close

2:30pm Finals matches begin

4:00pm Competition event closes

This is the 2nd annual Silicon ValleyAll-Girls VEX IQ Tournament is for teams that are 100% composed of girls. This is an event to help more girls get exposed to the world of VEX IQ and robotics.

Please note this event will NOT qualify teams to any higher level events.
