General Info

Crusader VEX IQ Tournament co-sponsored by Insynergy Engineering, Inc. 

Location: Newell Hall Elementary Common Area 

This is an Elementary-only Tournament. Only one team per school/organization is allowed. This event will qualify teams to the 2020 Hawaii State Elementary School VEX IQ Championships. 

  1. Teams must be paid 1 week prior to the Tournament date. 
  2. Teams that have not checked in by 8:00am will be dropped from the roster so that the match list may be run. Teams that are running late must contact the event partner prior to this cut off if they do not wish to be dropped.
  3. Engineering Notebooks are due by 8:00am on Saturday, October 5, 2019.  


STEM Research Award
Please email STEM Research Videos to rene@higp.hawaii.edu by Saturday, September 28, 2019. Be sure that the sound quality is sufficient that students are heard with enough volume and clarity and that any materials shown are of sufficient size to be understandable.

Reminders

  1. Please supervise all team members; we are guests of the Saint Louis School.  Teams are restricted to the Event area. 
  2. There should be no running in the pit or tournament areas.  Please be careful about creating tripping hazards with packing crates, etc.
  3. Please keep the pit area clean. No food or drinks allowed. Capped drinks are ok. 
  4. Charging tables will be available; bring your own power strip and extension cord.
  5. Please do not bring your own VEX IQ field game set unless you were requested/confirmed to do so.

 

 

Late arrivals
