General Info

This league is primarily for teams from Butte County California. League Sessions will be meeting in the Nelson MS Gym on the south end of campus. Parking is available in the school parking lot and on the street.  DO NOT park in Hearthstone's parking lot as the gates may be locked by then end of the League Session.

Doors will open at 4:00 PM and each session begins with Team Check-in and Robot Inspection. Teams need to check in by 4:45 PM and robots need to pass inspection by 4:55 PM to be included in the Teamwork Challenge match schedule. The goal is to start the Sessions at 5:00 PM.  At Team Check-in for the first session, teams MUST turn in release forms and checks.  Opportunity for volunteers to sign up will be made available prior to the event.

At the the three League Sessions, each team will be given the opportunity to compete in four Teamwork Challenge Qualifying Matches.  Each team will be allowed to participate in two Driving Skills Challenge Matches and up to two Programming Skills Challenge Matches per session.  The Skills Challenge must be completed as a pair.

The fourth session is the Finals Session. At Check-in, teams will turn in their Engineering Notebooks. Teams that turned in good Engineering Notebooks will participate in Robot Design Judging. Each team willl be allowed to complete one Skills Challenge Match during this session prior to the Final Matches. This session will conclude with Teamwork Finals Matches and Awards.

We greatly encourage teams to provide at least one volunteer for at least one session. Extra volunteers make it easier for us to move teams through the matches in a timely fashion. See the Volunteer tab for details.

We will have two Teamwork Challenge fields, one Skills Challenge field and  at least one practice fields at each session.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
