Parents and friends with a valid WWC are invited to volunteer and assist in running the event, please contact Brooklyn for further information.
Event Running Sheet
9:30am Welcome for new schools. Please ensure visiting family and friends sign in
at KAS front office.
9:45 am Robot scrutineering and team sign in. Teams will be assign their own
workbench and gain access to power. Robot number plates handed out.
Collection of media consent forms
10:00 am Pre-scrimmage brief.
10:15 am Scrimmage Qualification rounds on field 1. Please ensure your teams are
lined up ready for their event one event prior to prevent DQ for late arrival.
Field two will be open for driver warm up during this time.
11:25 am Lunch - students and parents are welcome to order lunch from the canteen.
11:55 am Autonomous and driver control skills rounds run on field 1 & 2.
Teams are limited to one of each to allow the event to be run within time
12:20 pm Finals rounds (afternoon tea may be taken at own time during this period).
1:20 pm Presentation
1:40 pm Reflection what we have learnt today. Reveal of new game board
2:00 pm Free mingle time/pack up
2:30 pm Finish (option to stay longer if your school wishes to utilise
mentoring time with peers? Please let me know prior to event
and I will organise it)

Here at the NSW Mid-North Coast Vex IQ Hub, we aim to develop the opportunity for students to compete in a friendly robotics competition that develops key STEM competencies and collaborative relationships that will build student worth and purpose. This event will also focus on developing student and teacher skills in the field of Vex IQ robotics, and providing the opportunity for students to compete in a competitive scrimmage with both developing and experienced Vex IQ teams.
