MakerFest 2020 - Joining the State Championship
This season the STEM Research Project is presented as a 4-minute video plus 15 seconds of credits that the team records and uploads to SchoolTube, YouTube, or a similar online video platform. A link to the video must be submitted to the Event Partner no later than ONE WEEK BEFORE the tournament date. Follow these steps:

The Michigan VEX IQ State Championship will be held at the Grand Traverse Resort. It is strongly recommended that you make your hotel accomodations at the resort to avoid any travel delays. We have taken great care to add many additional activites that can be enjoyed by the entire family. Make this a Get-Away weekend. Try to arrive on Friday and stay at the resort through Sunday!

It is unlikely we will cancel. All reasonable efforts will be made to inform teams of any cancelations due to incliment weather. Please monitor event status on Robot Events cancelations will be posted there.
This event will be held at the Grand Traverse Resort and teams with concerns about travel should plan to arrive a day in advance. The Grand Traverse Resort will gladly extend your stay at the same discounted VEX Robotics Discount rate.
We are transforming the Michigan VEX IQ State Championship into a full Get-Away weekend. Arrive Early and Stay Late to enjoy all of the additional family friendly activies.
If you are interested in learning more about VEX, help by volunteering during the event.
NOTE: Teams that provide a volunteer for the Michigan VEX IQ State Championship will recieve a Robot Inspection FastPass
