Welcome to the Inagural NOVA SySTEMic VEX IQ League! The league will meet on five dates: October 26th, November 16th, December 14th, January 18th, and February 15th (League Championship). Teams will compete in teamwork matches and skills challenges during the three middle meeting dates. All judging and finals matches will take place at the end of the last meeting. Certain spots from this league may qualify for the 2020 Virginia VEX Robotics State Championship.
October Meeting: Build Day/Meet the Field
November, December, January Meetings: 4 matches/3 skills challenges (each)
February League Championship: 6 matches/3 skills challenges (each)
Pit areas and setup will vary based on location. Parking at NVCC locations will be in B lots. Parking at middle schools will be in the parking lots outside of the school. Parking at the USPTO will be in either the west or east garages ($5/day). This event is free and open to the public.

In the event of inclement weather, the specific meeting date will be postponed or grouped with another meeting date.
Teams must pay by the first league meeting date in order to participate. Teams that cancel by October 1st will receive a full refund. Teams canceling after, October 1st or stop attending league meeting dates will not receive a refund.
This season the STEM Research Project is presented as a 4-minute video plus 15 seconds of credits that the team records and uploads to SchoolTube, YouTube, or a similar online video platform. A link to the video must be submitted to the Event Partner no later than ONE WEEK BEFORE the tournament date. Follow these steps:
