Welcome to the RIZE Robotics Queen City Kickoff Event
We invite you to join this small intimate event designed to allow new teams to participate in an RECF qualifier in a fun and low pressure environment. We are hopeful that new teams will consider this event as a way to experience all the aspects of a competition and learn the process so that they are better prepared for more competitive events later in the year.
Doors open at 8:00am.
Check-in: Please be sure to check in all your teams attending at the registration table as soon as you arrive. It is especially important with multiteam organizations to notify us if one or more of your teams were NOT able to attend.
At the registration table you will receive:
Inspection: Please complete inspection as soon as you arrive. We will be requiring the white licence plates which were provided in your team welcome kit from Robot Events. You may also use paper licence plates, but they must be the same size as the plastic ones(no exception
Call: If you are running late please, call or text 603-497-7979 by 9:00 or your teams will not be placed in the match schedule. be sure if you text to give us your team number and letter.
Electrical: There will be charging stations in the pit area(not at tables). Please be sure to label your charging blocks, batteries, controllers, and cables with your team number.
Extras: In addition here are a few things you to remember to make your day run smooth: spare parts & tools, batteries and chargers, programming cable, laptop/computer, robot and joystick controller.
Food: Our concession stand will be open all day. There will also be pre-ordered pepperoni and cheese whole pizzas available (orders MUST be placed by 10:00am)
8:00AM - 9:00AM - Check-In/Registration/Inspection
Note: All teams must be through inspection by 9:00AM
Teams must hand in an engineering notebook by 8:45 to be considered for Excellence or Design Awards. Only teams that hand in a completed notebook will be interviewed.
There will be no STEM Research project judging at this event.
9:00am-9:30am Opening Ceremonies and Driver Meeting
9:30am- 12pm Qualification Rounds
9:15am-12pm Skills field will be open. Teams will get a maximum of (3) three attempts at Driver Skills and (3) three attempts at Programming Skills.
12:30-1:30 Final rounds and Awards

In the event of severe weather, coaches will be notified of event status by 7am. Updated information will be posted on this event page. and on the NH LEGO LEAGUE facebook page located here https://www.facebook.com/NHLEGOLEAGUE/
In the event of cancellation due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances, teams should contact us for a refund.
If the event runs on an alternate date due to any circumstances there are no refunds
