General Information:
This is our third year hosting an Elementary School VEX IQ event, and our first as an official state qualifying tournament so please join us and help build the increasing capacity for youth robotics in our South Central Indiana region!
Event payments are expected when you register for the event and must be completed 2 weeks prior to the event date. Unpaid teams will be removed from the event to allow teams on the wait list to register. Please contact us if there are considerations to be made. IF the event is full please also contact us regarding availability. We will do our best to accommodate all interested teams within the space we have available.
Please let me know in advance any accessibility needs so we can plan pit space accordingly.
Check-in:
In order to keep our event running on-time, check-in will close promptly at 9:00 AM the morning of the event. Please contact by phone if you are going to be late to the event or have trouble locating the school. Match Lists will be generated as scheduled and will not be re-run thereafter.
If you will be bringing a different team than what has been registered, I will need that information no later than 12:00 p.m. the day before the event. There will be no changes the day of the event.
Please make sure you have paperwork completed to turn in at the time of Check-In.
Concessions will be available for lunch and snacks.

We welcome volunteers for our tournament. If you wish to volunteer, please contact Jaime Miller at jmiller@rbbschools.net for more information. We will be looking for queuing station workers, referees, and field reset support persons as well as additional roles such as pit support and concessions.
Weather
In case of bad weather conditions or possible cancellations please visit the event on robotevents.com where I will post updates about the event status if necessary. If cancelled, we will make every attempt to reschedule the event for 12/15/18. No refunds will be issued unless we are not able to run the event either date. Any refunds that are issued will be processed no later than 30 days after the 2nd date.
Refund Policy
Refunds for cancellations will only be issued if the spot is filled with another paying team, or the request is made at least three weeks prior to the competition date. Any refunds will be made 30 days after the competition date.
Parking
Parking for cars and vans/buses will be available in the parking lots in both front and rear of the school building. If accessibility is a concern, the back entrance is the preferred method of entry/parking, to access from Sycamore Drive, will be the closest access to the tournament event space.
Lodging
Hotel options are available in Bloomington, approx. 15 minutes from the competition location.
