General Info

A CREATE Open Powered by NPPD Event

The mission of the 2020 Innovation Showcase is to create a sustainable innovation culture in a rural community that fosters both workforce skills development in area youth and economic growth through business to business collaboration. This is done through a regional showcase with 50 business partners, 72 robot teams, and 25 innovation challenge teams. The innovation challenge teams provide added engagement for the business partners and allows business to business collaboration to be facilitated by area students. Two businesses will use their “industry challenge” problems to partner with one innovation team to come up with a project that can be created through the NPPD Innovation pathway - including prototyping or creating a mock up in the makerspace using industry techniques.
