General Info

UCF Knightmare Robotics and Apopka HS Robotics are coming together to host a VURC event @ Apopka HS.

This event takes place in the Robotics Lab on the 3rd Floor, room 649. Pits will be inside part of the lab and outside the lab in the hallway depending on team count. Parking can be in front of the Office or front of the Auditorium. We are planning to run 2 elevated Competition Fields on robosource risers and 1 Skills Field on the floor during the event.

Payments not made before January 13th risk moving to the waitlist.

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

We are thankful that the Robotics Club of Central Florida members and Apopka High School students are willing to help us as volunteers for this event.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the case of bad weather, we will follow up and replan the event accordingly.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Teams will be refunded minus a $5.00 fee that REC receives for the processing fee.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event and then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

The team will not be refunded.

Payment deadline is January 13th, 2025:

Teams who have not paid by this date risk being moved to the waitlist

Judging Format

  • Digital Engineering Notebooks & In-Person Team Interviews - Digital Engineering Notebooks should be submitted by Friday, January 17th, at 11:59 pm EST, with Team Interviews occurring In-Person during the event.
