General Info

The 22-23 Season Australian VEX U National Championships will be coming to Sydney in December 2022. 

The REC Foundation are proud to bring this event alive with the support of our sponsors SMC, Ford, Business Events Sydney, Australian Space Agency, SA Power Networks & Government of South Australia.

This will be a 2 day competition event (Saturday 3rd December & Sunday 4th December) with Team check in & inspection taking place on Friday the 2nd of December.

Volunteer, Mentor, Teacher Awards:

This is your chance to say THANK YOU for all the hard work that teachers, volunteers and mentors put into making it possible for you to participate in your VEX program.
Please take the time to recognise teachers, volunteers and mentors for their efforts in this season.

Design / Engineering Books :

Please hand your Team's clearly labelled Engineering notebooks in during check in & inspection (Friday 2nd December).

We would especially like to see Tech companies, who would like to volunteer one or more of their staff to come and help the teams with their design/engineering notebooks.

We will endeavour to send registered teams an email if event is cancelled due to unforseen weather or COVID guidelines.

Judging Format

 

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
