General Info
Welcome to the Alaska VEX U Live Remote Skills Only Competition! This competition will be on 1/22/22 over Zoom. You will be able to complete up to 3 Programming Skills Matches and 3 Driving Skills Matches (6 total).
For this competition you will need:

Official Competition Spin Up Field (see Appendix A of the game manual)

One Competition Switch, Field Controller setup with Tournament Manager, or an V5 event Brain.

Tool for sizing (VEX measuring tool or equivalent, measuring tape, etc.)

Webcam(s) with Zoom capability. One webcam is permissible if it can view the whole field as well as move around the field via the Head Ref's instructions. Otherwise, additional webcams are needed to accomplish these tasks.
Teams should carefully review the game manual regarding team requirements for Remote Skills Matches.

Agenda
The following schedule is in AKST:
7am - 9 Robot Inspection Time
9am - 12:20pm Skills sessions (8 slots, 25 minutes each)
12:20pm - 1:00 Break
1:00pm - 4:20 Skills sessions (8 slots, 25 minutes each)
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
If there is severe weather in Anchorage, Alaska that prevents the Head Referee or the Event Partner from hosting this remote competition, then the competition will be canceled and fees refunded. If a team is experiencing extreme weather in their location that prevents them from remotely attending the competition, then that team will be dropped from the event and their fees will be refunded. However, the competition will continue as planned.

Refunds are available up until the event begins (7am AKST 1/22/22). Please contact the Event Partner to get a refund.
