为了给参赛选手提供更多同台竞技及交流的机会，本次大赛采用“一赛两制、一赛两证”模式：线上 VEX 亚洲公开赛技能赛+线下 VEX 亚洲公开赛精英交流赛。此次大赛还专门设立了教练员专项赛，学生比赛期间，教练员们也能拥有一场属于自己技能切磋的互动平台，据悉教练员专项赛的设立是全国青少年人工智能赛事活动中首例创新型模式探索，旨在激发教练员内在潜力及交流共享教育技能，为更多青少年爱好者教育保驾护航。
