General Info
Welcome to Tigertown Throwdown!
This event will feature some of the best VEXU teams for the largest qualifying event in the world! We will be hosting a VRC tournament on the same day. Teams are welcome to volunteer or do skills at this tournament!
This event will take place on Clemson University's campus. Teams will be required to follow all University policies while on-campus. Be sure to acquire a parking pass before attending the event! The most economical option is to purchase a weekend parking pass for $8 - we apologize for the inconvenience!
Please note: this event will feature the new GPS code on the skills field, but not the competition fields. If you are making use of the GPS sensor and need them on the competition fields, feel free to reach out to bmmcgui@clemson.edu

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
If the event is cancelled this will be communicated to the team's primary contact and displayed here. Teams will be informed if the Health & Safety policies need to be implemented
Refund Policy
Teams who wish to remove themselves from the event will receive a full refund if they notify the Event Partner 4-weeks prior to the event. Teams who have registered but have not paid or submitted a PO 4-weeks prior to the event will be removed from the event unless a special arrangement has been made with the Event Partner. If the event is canceled, a full event registration refund will be given to all paid teams. Teams are responsible for their own transportation and hotel costs.
Health and Safety Policies
We will follow University recommendations for hosting a safe event. Teams will be asked to comply with these. Check back here regularly for updates about Health & Safety Policies
Currently In-Place:
1. The University has instituted a mask mandate for all buildings on campus. All event participants will be required to wear a mask while at the event.
2. There are no current limits on team or spectator attendance. Event participants who do not feel well should not attend; we are live streaming the event.
Cancellations
If the event is canceled for Health & Safety considerations, notice will be given as far in advance as possible. Two weeks before the event date, we will re-evaluate our policies, and determine if cancellation is required.

This event will take place at Hendrix Student Center on Clemson University's campus. You will need to purchase a parking pass to park on campus - the best way to do this is to purchase a weekend pass for $8.
Enter through the front entrance, and climb the staircase to the 2nd floor. Elevators are available to the right.

This event will be broadcast to the South Carolina VEX youtube channel.
Judging
This event will feature a hybrid judging model, with Digital Notebook Submissions and Standard, In-Person pit interviews of teams. Teams with physical notebooks should scan their notebooks into a digital format.

Each team will have an in-person interview in their pit, which will not be scheduled. Some teams may be called to secondary interviews with judges.
