Worcester, Massachusetts is a growing city approximately one hour from Boston. Worcester has a local airport serving Delta, American, and Jet Blue (airport code ORH), and is less than 90 minutes from Boston Logan (BOS), Hartford Bradley (BDL), Providence (PVD) or Manchester (MHT). WPI is also just a few minutes off of interstate 90.
Several hotels are avaialble near WPI, including the Hampton Inn and Courtyard by Marriot (walking distance), and the Hilton Garden Inn (1 mile). Budget hotel options are avaialble within a 15 minute drive from campus.
The registration fee covers costs for signing up through Robot Events. Because of this, we can offer absolutely no refunds on the $5 registration fee.
The snow date is Sunday, January 12th. Every effort will be made to hold the event on 1/11, including delaying the start to facilitate safe travel for teams. A decision on a delayed start or rescheduling will be made by Friday 1/10 at 1700. If a team’s flight or other scheduled transportation is delayed, please notify the event management as soon as possible so we can try to accomodate.

WPI is excited to be hosting our first ever VEX U event at the WPI Campus Center. After the success of the WPI signature event, WPI is eager to support VEX and VEX U going forward. To help with this, registration for this event is only $5 per team. All that we ask is that you attend, compete, and have a blast!
Each team will have a minimum of a 1/2 table and power in their pit area. Final schedule including number of competition fields, skill fields, and practice fields will be made available closer to the date of the event.
We are happy to announce that we have been awarded one (1) qualification spot to VEX Worlds pending registration of at least six (6) teams. UPDATE: The event's allocation of Worlds qualification spots has been increased to three (3). The spots will go to the Excellence award winner, as well as the Event Finalist and Event Champion.
