General Info
An exciting drone competition where pilots rise to claim the skies! This tournament is open to HIgh School only.
Preferred payment option is for payment to be made payable by check to Allen MCJROTC Boosters and postmarked by March 21, 2025 or bring a check to pay at check in. Checks wil be mailed to 300 Rivercrest Blvd. Allen, TX 75002 - Attention JROTC.
We are excited to invite your teams to the Allen Aerial Drone Competition, the first of many aerial drone competitions here in Allen! This is going to be a thrilling event, and we hope you and your teams will join us for an unforgettable day of competition.
Here’s everything you need to know:
- High School Qualifier: This tournament is planned as a high school qualifier as it is designed for High School Teams only.
- Safety: Safety glasses are required for all participants on the fields.
- Logbooks: Physical competition logbooks or printed copies of digital competition logbooks must be submitted at check-in if the team wishes for them to be considered for judging.
- Participant Release Form: All participants must complete the Participant Release Form before the tournament. Please refer to the instructions in the Documents Tab.
- Lunch: Lunch will be on your own, but there will be concessions available on-site.
- Entrance: Spectators and competitors should enter through the main entrance of the school.
- Payment Deadline: Teams that have not paid by the payment deadline will be moved to the waitlist.
- Team Registration Limit: Due to high interest in the tournament, only 4 teams per organization can register. If you have additional teams interested in competing, please add them to the waitlist. If I have space available I will be contacting and adding waitlisted teams as we get closer.

This event is located in the South Central Region which includes:
USA: Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas
Please note: Only teams that are a part of the South Central Region are eligible to earn invitations to Regional Championships from this event. If your team is from outside this region, you may attend the event and will be eligible to earn awards and post scores to the global skills rankings, but will not be eligible to qualify for a Regional Championship from this event.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
All cancellations will be communicated through email. Please check your email the day before and the morning of the tournament (before leaving).
Unfortunately, there will be no make-up in case of weather cancellations.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: a refund would be given minus any processing fees.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: no refunds are possible.
