General Info
This event is sure to be a fast-paced and exciting event. All teams should come prepared for competition. Here are a few steps that every team should take to ensure that they are prepared.
1. Review the rules in the Competition Manual and review the inspection checklist before the competition so that there is ample time for adjustments.
2. Check the official Aerial Drone Competition Q & A and/or forum for rule updates and changes.
3. Pack for the event the day before the day of departure. Remember: Goggles/Safety glasses, spare parts and tools, batteries and chargers, programming cable, power strip/extension cord, laptop computer, and competition logbook.
4. Safety comes first. Please see the Health and Safety Tab. Tools brought with you should not pose a safety risk.
5. Understand how the game will be played.
6. Be certain you have the latest version for your programming software, controllers, batteries, drones, etc.
7. Participation and consent form - a completed form for all participants must be posted online. PLEASE turn this in electronically through the REC website.
Oxford High School is located at 100 Carbuncle Drive in Oxford, Massachusetts. Parking and entrance to the event are located at the front of the building. All events will take place in the school gymnasium and signs and volunteers will help you upon arrival. We will have food and refreshments for sale. (Cash and small bills are preferred).

Please note: Only teams that are a part of the Northeast Region are eligible to earn invitations to Regional Championships from this event. If your team is from outside this region, you may attend the event and will be eligible to earn awards and post scores to the global skills rankings, but will not be eligible to qualify for a Regional Championship from this event.

Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: Fees minus the REC fee of $5 will be reimbursed
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event and then chooses to withdraw or not attend: Refund will be given if notified 2 weeks before the event. Within two weeks of the event no refund will be given.
Health and Safety Policies
School Policy bans smoking/vaping anywhere on the Oxford School Campus. Additionally, firearms, knives, or other weapons are prohibited.

Oxford High School is located in Massachusetts, about 10 minutes south of Worcester and about 53 miles west of Boston.
From the east:
Take I-90 Mass Pike West toward Worcester,
Take exit 90 for I-395 S/I-290 keep left follow the signs for I-395 S/New London. Keep right at the fork, and follow the signs for I-395 S/New London.
Take Exit 5 for Depot Road toward North Oxford
Keep Right at the fork, merge onto Depot road
Turn Left onto Old Worcester Road
Turn Left onto MA-12 S/Main Street about .8 miles turn right onto Carbuncle Drive
From the North (Worcester, Barre, Dover, Massabesic area):
Take NH-16 South/Spaulding Turnpike toward Portsmouth/Boston
Take the I-95 S exit toward Hampton/Boston
Keep left at fork to continue on I-95
Take exit 89 for I-495 S toward Worcester
Take exit 65B for I-290 W toward Worcester
Take exit 90 for I-395 S/I-290 keep left follow signs for I-395 S/New London. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for I-395 S/New London.
Take Exit 5 for Depot Road toward North Oxford
Keep Right at the fork, merge onto Depot road
Turn Left onto Old Worcester Road
Turn Left onto MA-12 S/Main Street about .8 miles turn right onto Carbuncle Drive
*Pass the Oxford Police Station on the right and the Middle School, take the next right into the drive way and proceed 300 yards to the school and park in the main parking lot.
