Welcome to our annual Aerial Drone Competition at Riverfield Academy for Mission 2025: Gravity.

We are ready to host our annual tournament and are looking forward to a fun and eventful day!  All participants and spectators are welcome.

To prepare for the event, be sure to read the game manual, review the inspection form and review the competition logbook and team judging rubrics.  All of these documents can be found under the Documents Tab. 

Check the official Aerial Drone Competiton Official Q & A forum for any rule updates and changes.

Prep for your interviews with the judges. Check the awards tab to see what awards will be given during the tournament. Review the descriptions and criteria for the awards that are being given during the tournament. 

Be sure to label everything that you bring. Here are a few items that you don't want to forget:

• Goggles/Safety Glasses 
• Spare parts & tools 
• Batteries and chargers 
• Programming cable   
• Power strip  
• Laptop computer

**Competition Logbooks will be judged remotely.  The deadline for submission is January 13, 2025 and must be uploaded on RobotEvents.com. 

Banners and other decorations for your team pit area will be allowed. 1 table and 3 chairs will be set up for each team. 

Food options are available in town.  Some concession items will be available at the event.  Plan accordingly.

Spectators are allowed to bring their own seating for the event.  

All approved events and event attendees are required to follow all local, state, federal, or any other government ordinances regarding COVID-19 safety procedures, social distancing, and best hygiene practices. We will continually assess, based on current government guidelines, whether to postpone, cancel, or significantly reduce the number of attendees when necessary

• This event is located in the Southeast Region which includes: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. 

• Teams who are from the Southeast Region and earn a qualifying award at this event will be invited to the Southeast Regional Championship - Lexington, South Carolina, April 11-12, 2025.

Please note: If you are a team from outside this region, you may attend the event and will be eligible to earn awards and post scores to the global skills rankings, but you are not eligible to earn invitations to regional championships from this event.
