General Info
Welcome to the Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium-Carthage College MS/HS Aerial Drone Competition! We are located on the Carthage College campus in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
We hope that you will join us for a fun day of drone flying. The tournament will take place in the gymnasium (Tarble Fieldhouse) on our main campus. Here are a few logistical notes:
- Event takes place Feb. 1, 2025 at the Carthage College TARC Fieldhouse, located on the 3rd floor of the rec center, on the south end of campus.
- Parking will be available in the large lot just west of the Tarble Arena.
- Teams will have tables available but will need to bring extension cables and power strips.
- Safety Glasses are required and should be brought by participants.
- Digital Competition Logbooks or scanned copies of physical logbooks need to be uploaded on Robot Events by Wednesday, January 29, 2025, by 5:00 PM CST. There will be no onsite review of logbooks. Submission instructions can be found here.
- Lunch will be available for team members and mentors beginning at the conclusion of the qualifying rounds/start of championship round team selections. Lunch for team members and mentors is included in the registration price. Guests will be able to purchase box lunches for $5/person.
- *All participants (players, coaches, mentors, parent volunteers) must complete a media release form - you can do so online here.
- Registration payment is due by 12:00 EST January 17th - pay here.

This event is located in the North Central Region which includes:
USA: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Ohio, Wisconsin
Canada: Manitoba, Ontario, Nunavut
Please note: Only teams that are a part of the North Central Region are eligible to earn invitations to Regional Championships from this event. If your team is from outside this region, you may attend the event and will be eligible to earn awards and post scores to the global skills rankings, but will not be eligible to qualify for a Regional Championship from this event.

We have many different needs from simply sitting at a table checking people in to being a ref or a judge.
No prior experience is needed. Certification Courses for Judge Advisors and Head Referees are available at training.recf.org.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of an emergency or bad weather, check this site for updates. Team mentors will be notified via email of any changes to the event-day schedule.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: Refunds will be issued minus any fees charged from Robot Events.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event and then chooses to withdraw or not attend: No refunds will be given.
