General Info

WELCOME to the Capitol City Robotics FALL Drones Classic

DETAILS

  • This event will be held in-person

  • Interview Judging will be held in-person

  • Competition Logbooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. All notebooks should be submitted by midnight on 1/23/2025. 

  • We will hold 7 rounds of Teamwork Challenges along with Skills

  • Food will NOT be served at the venue, please make arrangement with your team to bring or order food 

LOCATION

  • Our tournament will be held in the Rita Bright Family and Youth Center, 2500 14th Street Northwest

  • There is street parking only so please plan accordingly 

SCHEDULE

  • If a team does not show up, the timed schedule must be changed to reflect the teams present

  • The times are tentative and your team may perform earlier or later, please check the schedule once you arrive.

  • This schedule is tentative and subject to change.

8:00 AM – Doors open, Inspection begins

9:00 AM – Pilots' meeting

9:30 AM – Qualification Matches, Skills Matches and Judging begin

12:00 PM – Lunch

1:00 PM – Qualification Matches and Skills Matches resume

3:00 PM – Qualification Matches and Skills End; Alliance Selection begins

3:15 PM – Elimination Tournament

4:00 PM – Closing Ceremony and Awards

USA: Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia

Canada: Quebec, Newfoundland, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia

Please note: Only teams that are a part of the Northeast Region are eligible to earn invitations to Regional Championships from this event. If your team is from outside this region, you may attend the event and will be eligible to earn awards and post scores to the global skills rankings, but will not be eligible to qualify for a Regional Championship from this event.
