This event is located in the West Region which includes:

USA: Alaska, American Samoa, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming

Canada: British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Yukon Territory, Northwest Territories

Please note: Only teams that are a part of the West Region are eligible to earn invitations to Regional Championships from this event. If your team is from outside this region, you may attend the event and will be eligible to earn awards and post scores to the global skills rankings, but will not be eligible to qualify for a Regional Championship from this event.

Welcome to the 2nd Annual "Pacifica@Santa Monica Bay Aerial Drone Competition." Together, we will continue to make drone history by participating in these Drone Tournaments on the westside of Los Angeles County.  

• This is a blended tournament for both middle and high school teams.  
• Doors open at 7:30 am.
• The tournament will run from 8 am to 4 pm. 
• A detailed tournament agenda will be posted at a later date, as well as details on lunch options.  
• Safety glasses will be required (each team must bring their own safety glasses)
• Competition Logbooks will be turned in at check in if the team wants the logbook to be considered for judging. 
• Parking:
  • Metered 2-hour street parking is available in the neighborhood.  Please read the street parking signs CAREFULLY. 
  • Directly east across 18th Street (facing our 18th Street school entrance), there is an open parking lot (from 18th St to a "dividing" alleyway).  Park there at your own risk.  Payment using the posted QR code via a third-party vendor. 
• Food Options:
  • Coffee and Acai bowl vendor will be on site all day in the Courtyard.
  • Student Concession stand with snacks, fruit, and drinks will be available in the courtyard.  Cash only.
