General Info

This event is located in the South Central Region which includes:

USA: Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas

Note: Teams competing at a local qualifying event that are from outside that Event Region are eligible to receive any performance-based or judged awards offered at the event and should be treated identically to teams from within that Event Region. However, any qualification spot to the Regional Championship associated with an award that is given to an out-of-region  team will go to the next highest-ranked non-qualified team from within that Event Region on the Skills Ranking at that event.

 

Lake of the Ozark (LOZ) Aerial Drone Competition

We look forward to seeing you here at Camdenton High School. This event is hosted by our JROTC program but all teams are welcome to attend our competition.

This is an open event for both Middle School and High School Teams. If 10 or more middle school teams and 10 or more high school teams register there will be 2 All-Around Champion and 2 Skills Champion awards presented.

  Please note that all Competition Logbooks will be judged prior to the event and must be received no later than Monday, February 17th by 5pm local time.

  • Safety glasses are required.

  • Digital copies of the Competition Logbooks will be judged prior to the event and must be received no later than Monday, February 17, 2025 by 5pm local time.

  • All participants must complete the Participant Release form before the tournament: Participant Release Form

  • Due to the increasing interest in our competitions, each organization may only register 3 teams. If you have others that would like to attend, please add them to the waitlist.

  • We have plenty of free parking near the main entrance. 

  • Everyone must enter using the main doors in the front.

  • Concessions will be available for purchase..

Volunteer

Judges and Referees will be adults. We plan to use MOARNG Recruiters, SROTC Cadets and graduates of Camdenton HS as the primary volunteers for the event.  Any interested personnel in volunteering for the event should conact the Event Partner by email at: [email protected].

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Final weather decision to cancel the event will be made NLT 0800 (CST) on FRI 21 FEB. Teams will be notified by email of any emergency or bad weather announcements. 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Registration fees minus the $5 fee for Robot Events will be refund by the event partner by check.

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

If the event partner is notified 48 hours prior to the event start,  the event partner will refund the registration fee minus the $5 fee for Robot Events by check.
