This event is located in the North Central Region which includes:
USA: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Ohio, Wisconsin
Canada: Manitoba, Ontario, Nunavut
Please note: Only teams that are a part of the North Central Region are eligible to earn invitations to Regional Championships from this event. If your team is from outside this region, you may attend the event and will be eligible to earn awards and post scores to the global skills rankings, but will not be eligible to qualify for a Regional Championship from this event.

Competition Logbooks
Printed copies of the Competition Logbook need to be turned in at check in on the day of the tournament, if the team would like for it to be considered for judging.

Autonomous and Skills Fields will be ran during teamwork trials and after lunch.
Competition Preparation
This event is sure to be fast-paced and exciting. All teams should come prepared for the competition. Here are a few steps that every team should take to ensure that they are prepared:
1. Review the rules and run through the inspection checklist about a week before the competition so your team has ample time for adjustments. The inspection checklist can be found on the Documents tab.
2. Pack for the event the day before, and remember to bring the following:
- Drone and remote
- Goggles/Safety Glasses
- Spare parts & tools
- Batteries and chargers
- Programming cable
- Power strip
- Laptop computer
- Competition Logbook
3. Remember that safety comes first.
- NO flying outside of designated areas.
- The first violation of this will remove you from judged awards.
- The second violation will result in asking the team to leave.
- Please don't bring tools that pose a safety risk to your team or others nearby.
4. Each player and coach/mentor must have a completed and signed Participation and Consent Form. These can be completed online or physical copies can be completed and uploaded to the coach's Robot Events account for each team. These need to be completed and/or uploaded before the event. 8:30-8:55 Autonomous and Piloting Challenge
9:00-9:15 Introductions, Announcements, The Star Spangled Banner
9:15-9:25 Pilots Meeting
9:30-12:00 Teamwork missions on fields one and two. Teams can continue Autonomous and Piloting missions as time permits
12:00-12:45 Lunch in the cafetorium, fill free to bring your own, leave to grab your own, or you can order: (delivery information will be update by October 25)
12:45-2:15, Teamwork Missions Continued if needed, Autonomous and Piloting missions continue,
2:15 Alliances formed for qualified matches.
2:30 Final Rounds Begin
3:15-3:30 Awards, closing ceremonies
3:45 (Optional) Cha Cha Slide with Drones

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
We will follow the directions of Howard County Emergency Managment recommendations. Students, Staff, and Volunteer safety is of utmost importance.
Please check the robotevents.com General Information page before traveling to Taylor for possible notice of a delayed event start time, cancellation, or rescheduling of the event due to inclement weather, local emergency, or other restrictions.
Notice will be posted by 5:00 AM the morning of the event (or sooner if a decision is made).
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Should the Titan Aerial Drone Competition Event on November 16, 2024, be canceled, refunds in the amount of $75 will be issued less the $5 fee charged by REC.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
No refund will be granted.
