General Info
This event is located in the South Central Region which includes:
USA: Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas
Note: Teams competing at a local qualifying event that are from outside that Event Region are eligible to receive any performance-based or judged awards offered at the event and should be treated identically to teams from within that Event Region. However, any qualification spot to the Regional Championship associated with an award that is given to an out-of-region team will go to the next highest-ranked non-qualified team from within that Event Region on the Skills Ranking at that event.

Digital competition logbooks need to be uploaded in RobotEvents by Jan 7, 2025, by 5 pm central.

All participants must complete the Participant Release form before the tournament.

Safety Glasses are required on the fields.

Lunch Break will be for 1 hour.

Outside food is not allowed in the venue. There are many fast food locations directly across the street.

Concessions will be available.

There is plenty of parking for buses and vehicles.

Spectators and competitors will use Entrance #2 off of Barker Cypress Rd.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
We do not anticipate any weather issues as this is an indoor event held in the Spring in Houston, TX.
In the event of an emergency or weather issue, teams will be notified by email of any changes.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
If the venue cancels for unexpected circumstances, refunds are available minus the $5 REC Foundation fee.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Fees are forfietted if you cancel after the pay date. (Emergencies are on a case by case basis.)
