North Central Region

• This event is located in the North Central Region which includes: 

  USA: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Ohio, Wisconsin 

  Canada: Manitoba, Ontario, Nunavut

• Teams who are from the North Central Region and earn a qualifying award at this event will be invited to the North Central Regional Championship - in Flint Michigan at Kettering University on a date TBD.

• The award(s) that qualify for an invitation to the above regional will be found on the awards tab by December 1, 2024.

• Additional invitations may be issued by January 12th based on the number of teams and events in the region.

Please note: If you are a team from outside this region, you may attend the event and will be eligible to earn awards and post scores to the global skills rankings, but you are not eligible to earn invitations to regional championships from this event.

Welcome to the MX Aerial Showdown for MS/HS at Trotwood-Madison HS! We are located in Trotwood, Ohio - just west of Dayton and Wright Patterson Air Force Base. We hope that you will join us for a fun day of drone competition. The tournament will take place in the gymnasium on our main campus. Here are a few logistical notes:

• We have plenty of parking on-site (for buses too!) in the back of the high school.
• Teams will have tables available but will need to bring extension cables and power strips.  
• Safety Glasses are required; host does not have enough to spare for teams.
• Digital Competition Logbooks or scanned copies of physical logbooks need to be uploaded on Robot Events by Tuesday, December 10th by 5:00 PM EST. 
• We will have concessions and lunch available for sale starting at 8 AM to the conclusion of the qualifying rounds/ start of championship round team selections.
