General Info

This event is located in the West Region which includes:

USA: Alaska, American Samoa, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming

Canada: British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Yukon Territory, Northwest Territories

Please note: Only teams that are a part of the West Region are eligible to earn invitations to Regional Championships from this event. If your team is from outside this region, you may attend the event and will be eligible to earn awards and post scores to the global skills rankings, but will not be eligible to qualify for a Regional Championship from this event.

Cougar Concours: Aerial Drone Competition

The tournament will be held in the student union/cafeteria at Foothill High School. 

  • Check in starts at 7:00 AM.
  • Safety glasses are required.
  • Lunch is on your own.
  • Snacks/beverages will be available for purchase at the snack bar.
  • Bathrooms are located in the student union.
  • Physical copies of the Competition Logbook will be turned in at Check-In if the team wants it to be considered for judging.
  • All participants must complete the Particpant Release form before the tournament: Participant Release Form

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Weather call will be made at least (1) week prior to the event.  Teams will be notified by email of any changes due to emergency or bad weather.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Teams will receive a full refund minus the $5 processing fee.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Teams will receive a full refund (minus the $5 processing fee) if cancelled at least 1 week prior to the event.
