North Central Region

• This event is located in the North Central Region which includes:  Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Wisconsin, and South Dakota. 

• Teams who are from the North Central Region and earn a qualifying award at this event will be invited to the North Central Regional Championship - in Flint Michigan at Kettering University on May 17-19,  2024.

• The award(s) that qualify for an invitation to the above regional will be found on the awards tab by December 1, 2024.

• Additional invitations may be issued by January 12th based on the number of teams and events in the region.

Please note: If you are a team from outside this region, you may attend the event and will be eligible to earn awards and post scores to the global skills rankings, but you are not eligible to earn invitations to regional championships from this event.

Welcome to the 2nd Annual Miami Valley Aerial Drone Competition at the Greene County Career Center! We are located in Xenia, Ohio - just east of Dayton and Wright Patterson Airforce Base. We hope that you will join us for a fun day of UAS & drone competition. Our career center facility opened in 2020 with some of the most state-of-the-art career technical educational spaces in the Midwest. The tournament will take place in the gymnasium and our UAS flying space on our main campus. Here are a few logistical notes:

• Our address is 532 Innovation Dr, Xenia, Ohio 45385, we have pleny of parking on-site (for buses too!)
• Teams will have tables available but will need to bring extension cables and power strips.  
• Safety Glasses are required
• Digital Competition Logbooks or scanned copies of physical logbooks need to be uploaded on Robot Events by Feb, 14th. 
• We will try to get some food trucks on site but Xenia also has plenty of options for pick-up, delivery, or dine-in.
