General Info

Southeast Region

  • This event is located in the Southeast Region which includes:  Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. 

  • Teams who are from the Southeast Region and earn a qualifying award at this event will be invited to the Southeast Regional Championship - in Jackson, Mississippi  at the Mississippi Coliseum on April 12-13, 2024.

  • The award(s) that qualify for an invitation to the above regional championship will be found on the awards tab by December 1, 2024.  

  •  Additional invitations may be issued by January 12th based on the number of teams and events in the region.

Please note: If you are a team from outside this region, you may attend the event and will be eligible to earn awards and post scores to the global skills rankings, but you are not eligible to earn invitations to regional championships from this event.

This Aerial Drone Event is a Blended event, so all teams are welcome!  We are hosting this event to give this opportunity to teams this year so they can get a taste of what a competition is like. We hope you join us! 


  • All participants are expected to complete the Participant Release Form uploaded on Robot Events. This just needs to be completed once each season and will cover all Aerial Drone Competiition events for the season. 
  • Safety glasses are required.
  • Competition Logbooks (physical copy) should be turned in at check in on the day of the tournament.

Refund and Payment Policies


If the event partner cancels the event:

  • Refunds minus fees accessed by the REC Foundation will be issued in the cases of an event cancellation.  (Per the fee structure, $5.00 of each registration is used by their organization for processing and is not refundable plus there is a 3% credit card fee charged for processing credit card payments.)

If a team registers and decides not to attend the event: 

  • No refunds will be issued to "no show" teams.
