General Info
South Central: Update on 11.3.2023
- This event is located in the South Central Region which includes: Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.
- Teams who are from the South Central Region and earn a qualifying award at this event will be invited to the South Central Regional Championship - Location and Date TBA.
- The award(s) that qualify for an invitation to the above regional championship will be found on the awards tab by December 1, 2024. Additional invitations may be issued by January 12th based on the number of teams and events in the region.

Please note: If you are a team from outside this region, you may attend the event and will be eligible to earn awards and post scores to the global skills rankings, but you are not eligible to earn invitations to regional championships from this event.
Harmony School of Innovation Fort Worth prides itself on its diversity, character, and excellence. We will carry this through to our events. When you arrive, you will be asked to use only the front entrance unless there is an emergency. There is room for bus parking in both the front and the back of the school.
Coaches, please advise your teams to check in immediately upon arrival and use their assigned pit area to set up for the day.
Please bring cash for the concession stand. We will have meals as well as snacks and drinks to meet the needs of everyone.

Other Details:
Digital Notebook: A digital Competition Logbook (or scanned copy of a written logbook) must be submitted to qualify for the Excellence Award and Flight Operations Award. Competition Logbooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Logbooks must be submitted by 5:00 pm on Monday, Nov. 6, 2023. if you want it considered for judging. The logbook is only shared with event staff, including the Event Partner, Judge Advisor, and Judges, and may include the REC Foundation Program Support Manager. Details on this process are given in the Judge Guide.
Consent Forms: All participants must have a Participant Release Form on file. It is the responsibility of the Team’s Primary Contact to make sure this occurs. A link to the instructions on how to submit a Participant Release Form is found HERE.
Inspection: Inspection is scheduled first thing in the morning. All teams must pass inspection to be allowed to compete in either skills or qualification matches. Please be prepared and ensure that your drone will pass inspection BEFORE the competition by reviewing the INSPECTION CHECKLIST.
Interviews: All teams will be interviewed in-person at the event. Judges will come to interview teams in the pit area.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of an emergency or bad weather, the tournament will be rescheduled or teams will receive a credit to use for our Spring Tournament.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
A credit will be given for our Spring Tournament.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
No refunds will be available.
