Welcome to the Kempner Cougar Classic High School, TX-924 AFJROTC RECF Aerial Drones Competition

General Information: Guest parking will be is located in the KHS Bus Ramp Parking lot, located by the portable building school. Once you get to the school, turn on the road before the high school marquee, by the portable buildings and park in the parking lot is straight ahead. Enter through the double door.

Team check-in will be at the gym entrance to the building.

Health and Safety: Masks are highly encouraged but are not mandatory. Multiple hand sanitizing stations will be available. Please practice frequent hand washing and social distancing when necessary.

Students and sponsors, PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU ARE SICK.

Competition Grade Level: Middle School, High School, and JROTC

Competition Etiquette: Spectators will not be allowed on the Competition Fields/Courts. All spectators must remain off-court and in the bleachers. Team sponsors (1) will be allowed access to take pictures/videos of their team.

Consent Forms: All consent forms are due to the Event Partner by 24 Feb 2023.

Robot Skills Challenge Offered: Yes

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

The event partner will contact teams in the event of a fire, flood, tornado or hurricane, road closures, and other unforeseen events that affect the health and safety of the team's ability to get to the venue.

In case of inclement weather, we will determine rescheduling possibilities as early as possible

Refund Policy

Refund Policy: Refunds will be issued up to 14 days prior to the event if a replacement team is available to fill the vacant spot. Refunds will not be issued after that time except in case of very extenuating circumstances at the event partner's discretion. Please be aware that event partners have fixed costs and rely on team registrations to meet these obligations.

Guest Parking:

Guest parking will be is located in the Student Parking lot/bus ramp, located by the portable building school coming from Highway 6. Once you get to the school, turn on the road behind the portable buildings, and park in the parking lot in front of the portable building. The KHS gym/commons is located through the double glass doors to your left as you are facing the building.

Team check-in will be in the Commons building entrance.

Judging Format

Engineering Notebook judging will be done in person. Teams will need to submit their engineering notebook when they check in for registration. All notebooks must be submitted within the first hour of the event.
