The question is, if the notebook cutoff is Wednesday (digital notebooks) and the Judge Advisor and a Judge pre-sort the notebooks on Thursday. It is found that a team adds an innovative submission on Friday, how should this be handled? The deadline for submission was Wednesday but teams can continue to update the notebook up to and during the event.

It is the responsibility of the Event Partner to set deadlines for Notebook submissions. Learning to plan ahead and meet deadlines is an important life skill for students' success in their educational and professional careers.
It is up to the Event Partner in conjunction with the Judge Advisor to enforce deadlines, or to allow late entries based on extenuating circumstances. Care should be taken that the process is consistent and gives all teams the same opportunities to submit Engineering Notebooks.
