General Info
Kids Beginner Robotics Workshop Presented by Google
All students 6th to 10th grade with no experience with robotics are welcome and eligible. Students with VEX V5 Robotics Competition experience should not register for this event. No adults, please.
Several trained volunteers will attend to assist each participant.
Registration Instructions
To ensure you properly register your ‘student participant’ for this event, please follow these directions:
- Select the "Login to Register" button on the Workshop website to register the student. Only adults can register one or more students under their own account.
- Now select the “Create a new Workshop Member” to fill out the New Workshop Member form for each student.
- Once the form is complete, select “Save and Finish Registering”
- Once registered, the adult representative will receive an email containing additional information.
A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided during the registration process. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact Brandi Bolinger at [email protected]
REC Foundation Release Waiver
All participants will need to complete the RECF Participant Release Form either in adance or upon arrival. Hard copies of the waiver will be available and require a parent/guardian signature.
Meals
Breakfast and lunch will be provided for students. Students may bring their own food or snacks if they have specific dietary restrictions.

PARTICIPANT RELEASE FORMS

Each child must have a physical copy of the Event Participant Release Form signed by their parent/legal guardian in order to take part in the event. This form cannot be accepted digitally for this event.

To expedite the drop-off process, please print a copy of the Event Participant Release Form, sign it, and bring it with you.

If your child is being dropped off by someone that is not their legal parent/guardian,the parent must print a copy of the REC Foundation Participant Release Form, sign it, and have the adult that is dropping them off turn it in at registration.

If you are unable to print a copy and bring it with you, we will have extra copies on hand at drop-off.

END OF DAY PICK UP:

Attendees may be picked up beginning at 3:45 pm, and must be picked up by 4:00 pm from inside the building

A parent/guardian must be present to pick up a child - children will not be allowed to leave unattended.

Please park in the general parking lot, and then proceed to the registration area to pick up. An Event Staff member will be on hand to assist you.
