You are invited to join a panel of REC Foundation Regional Support Managers for a free online REC Foundation Event Partner (EP) Training Webinar - Introduction to Event Planning.

The webinar is geared towards new and returning V5RC, VIQRC, and VEXU Robotics Competition EPs who are planning on offering events for the 24/25 season.

Meeting time:  6:00PM - 7:00PM CST

Webinar Information

  • Register on RobotEvents - Registration closes on September 3rd, 2024, at noon Central Time
  • The webinar will not be recorded 
  • Participants will receive an email from Zoom to register with Zoom for this webinar after registration closes. 
  • Once registration with zoom is done, another email from Zoom will be sent that includes the link to join. 
  • The ‘Resources’ tab of the RobotEvents page will be updated with a list of links from the presentation after the training is complete
  • Coaches will receive 1 hour of Professional Development for attending the event live
  • Registration is free
  • No students, please

Zoom Meeting Registration and Instructions

  1. A Zoom account is required to participate in the webinar. If you do not have a zoom account, please go to www.zoom.com and create one using the same email address as your RobotEvents account.

  2. STEP ONE: Register for the Webinar on Zoom

    1. Follow this link to be redirected to the Registration Page anytime between now and the day of the webinar (registration will take about 2-5 minutes)

    2. Complete the survey at the bottom

    3. Be sure to use the same email address as the one attached to your RobotEvents account

    4. Click [Register]

  3. STEP TWO: Check your email for an email from Zoom

    1. The email from Zoom will contain a unique link for you to join the webinar

    2. Only one device may join with this link - so please do not share it 

  4. STEP THREE: Log onto Zoom Meetings

    1. On the day of the webinar, click on the link that was included in the email from Zoom

    2. You may need to sign into Zoom again - use the email address that you used to create the account
