General Info

This event is for teams that have qualified for the Kansas State Championship event.

 

Teams qualify for this event by winning a qualifying award (generally- Tournament Champions, Excellence award, and sometimes Design) at a qualifying Kansas event. Any remaning spots for this event are given out to the next team with the highest skills score at the end of the season. Teams at this event will have the opportunity to qualify for the VEX Robotics World Championships.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Because this is a world qualifying event, it will be rescheduled if needed. 

Refund and Payment Policies

Teams may recieve a refund if they cancel by Feb. 24th. Please notify the event partner by that date if it is your wish to not attend. 

Health and Safety Policies

Students need to ensure that all robots and tools are safe. Students should not bring power tools (except an air compressor) into the pit area. 

Safety glasses will be required at the field.

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges. Notebooks should be turned in at or before inspection.
